Our Story


Starting with multiple generations of farmers on both sides of the family. The farm has grown and produces a multitude of agricultural products. These days the farm focuses on its Black Angus cow-calf herd.

Conderman Shrimp Farms is a dream born out of generations of farming heritage. As an 8th generation farmer, I grew up immersed in the world of agriculture on our family farm. From an early age, I knew that farming was not just a passion but a calling, However, I also witnessed the numerous challenges and hardships that farmers often face. Instead of deterring me, these challenges fueled my determination to make a positive impact in the farming industry and most importantly on the family farm.

To broaden my horizons and explore innovative avenues, I pursued a higher education in Agricultural Education and Animal Science at a four-year university. It was during this transformative period that the idea of shrimp farming took root. My university had a small aquaculture lab that had previously experimented with raising saltwater shrimp.

This intriguing endeavor captured my imagination, and I embarked on a journey of extensive research into indoor aquaculture and Biofloc technology. My time was devoted to farm visits, industry networking, and seeking guidance from seasoned professionals. All these experiences coalesced into a tangible plan, and Conderman Shrimp Farms was born.

Conderman Shrimp Farms represents not only a personal aspiration but a commitment to bring fresh ideas and sustainable practices to our farming legacy. It’s a story of adaptation, innovation, and the relentless pursuit of excellence in agriculture. Thankfully I have the unwavering support of my family and wife to make this dream a reality.
